Ishani Wakhlu

Ishani is a research coordinator for the SPARK Lab's MAGIC project. She earned a B.A. in Psychology and Educational Studies from Colby College. She is interested in exploring influences on executive functioning and how educational practices play a role in enhancing and highlighting executive functioning, learning, and resilience during children's early development. 

She is particularly interested in how these concepts can promote greater equity in education for under-resourced communities. Ishani plans to pursue a doctoral degree in Education Policy, aiming to use her research and classroom experience to inform public policy and educational programming. 

Ishani also enjoys music, going for walks in nature, and finding new coffee shops!
